Sinamay

Sinamay is woven from the stalks of the abaca tree. Abaca fibre is stronger than cotton or silk, and as a result of that sinamay holds a very firm shape. It is one of the most common materials used in fascinator making and can be used to create all kinds of hat shapes too. It dyes very well and can be seen in a huge range of colours in stock now.
