Worbla ® KobraCast Art
Worbla’s Transpa Art is a clear thermoplastic sheet. It becomes soft and pliable when heated to 120°C. The material will cool down and harden again after a few minutes but can be reactivated as often as you like. When kneaded, Worbla’s Transpa Art will become a little milky making it possible to create elements such as stones or gems with LED’s. Due to the high activation temperature, it is recommended that you wear gloves with rubberised fingers when working with this material. It is also recommended that you use a wet sponge and modelling tools to help you shape the material. Clear super glue can be used to join pieces together. Once you have finished shaping your Worbla’s Transpa Art and it has hardened, it can then be painted and decorated.

Worbla’s® KobraCast Art is the most versatile Worbla®.
Worbla’s® KobraCast Art is very stretchy, but is also strong due to the tear-resistant mesh inside. This flexibility makes it possible to cast organic shapes such as antlers. It stays a little flexible even after cooling down which makes it possible to separate it from negative moulds including undercuts. Itcan be sewn making it easy to attach feathers, furs, fabrics and more. It is lightweight making it ideal for stabilising substructures in bags, corsets and more.
It is heat activated and can be easily shaped by hand or pushed into a mould. It can be reactivated meaning all the leftovers can be reused so there is no wastage. Worbla’s® KobraCast Art contains a heat activated glue which allows it to stick to itself and other materials.
